Easy ways to improve fitness levels
Walking: If you have been living a sedentary life, then walking is the best way of getting back into the world of exercise. On top of this, walking is easy to do, it requires no training or learning and you can do it at a pace that suits you. If you haven’t been exercising since a long time, then begin walking for ten minutes at a stretch two to three times a day, with the aim of walking for at least 20 to 30 minutes each day. Even if you do not lose weight drastically with walking, you will become healthier, fitter and leaner by incorporating walking into your daily schedule.
Yoga boosting fitness level
Yoga is another exercise form that is perfect for overweight women. With hundreds of asanas to choose from, there are some poses that you can always perform, no matter how unhealthy you are. The best part about yoga is that you can lose weight, increase your metabolism and correct hormonal imbalances simply by doing breathing exercises that you can do sitting at one place. Start with breathing exercises or pranayam and slowly incorporate stretching and other asanas into your exercise regime, and you will slowly, but surely achieve the fitness levels that you want with yoga.
Use stretching for better fitness level
One of the major downsides of being obese is that you start developing joint, muscle and bone problems, especially if you are a woman. In order to get your joints back to health and to avoid joint and muscle weakness and pain, stretching regularly is a must. You can do simple stretching exercises, or try some Tai Chi or Pilates poses. These simple exercises will help preserve your joints to last you a lifetime.
By making the above exercises a part of their daily routine and combining it with a healthy diet, obese women can easily achieve higher fitness levels and eventually lose weight and become healthier.
