Change Your Cooking Methods to Lower Biological Age

Biological Age and Healthy Food

When you’re in the kitchen, you’re probably not thinking about your biological age. What you are thinking about is whether you are going to enjoy what you are eating. But what if you could lower your biological age just with the ways you cook? You can. Simply by adjusting the way you heat foods, you can begin to change the way you eat and the way you feel as well.

Steaming to Preserve Nutrients, Improving Biological Age

Eat good to improve real body's age? Many people like to cook foods too much, which can cause them to have fewer and fewer nutrients. When you choose to lightly steam your vegetables, for example, you will be able to have as many vitamins and minerals present in your meal. Just get a metal steaming basket which can fit into most saucepans. Fill the bottom of the pan with water up to the edge of the bottom of the steam basket and then boil the water with the vegetables in the basket. As the steam is created, it will cook the vegetables. Depending on the stove’s strength, this can take anywhere from five to ten minutes for crunch and healthy vegetables.

A Better Oil to Use

While many people still choose vegetable oil for their cooking needs, they might not realize this is a highly processed and chemical laden oil. Though it certainly works to cook foods, it can also cause the recipe to have more bad fats in it. Instead of using this oil, you should turn to extra virgin olive oil to help lower your biological age. This oil has been linked to helping to reduce had fats in the body while also helping to control cholesterol. Use olive oil in place of any oil which is recommended in a recipe to help reduce the negative health impact on your body.

The Raw Method

Some research is showing that not cooking your food at all is the best way to stay healthy and to lower your biological age. By following raw recipes, you will be able to add more nutrients to your diet, while also reducing your cooking time in some cases. Look for ways to puree your foods to make them into cold soups and spreads to help preserve the nutritional content of your diet. Add more nuts to your diet and try to stay away from meats as a part of this diet plan. You will also want to avoid dairy when you cook in this way as this can cause the body to feel heavy and bloated.

The way you cook can impact the increase or the decrease in your biological age. By changing just a few things in your cooking habits, you will change the way you eat, the way you live, and the way you feel.

Testing Your Biological (Body's) Real Age

Biological Age Test

The Biological Age Test can help you find out in moments what your biological age is and how your age is changing. For some, this might mean they are aging too rapidly. For others, good habits may show that their biological age is moving downward, making them healthier and more youthful. It’s never too late to make changes in your life either. No matter what the results, being able to track one’s biological age will help you find out whether you are heading in the right direction for health or if you need to turn around and ask for more directions.
